1973 Targa Florio Porsche 911 car t-shirt

A tribute to the winner of the 1973 Targa Florio, the Martini Porsche 911 RSR driven Herbert Muller and Gijs van Lennep.

The Targa Florio was a legendary road race held in the open mountain roads around the Italian island of Sicily. Founded in 1906 it was the oldest sports car racing event, until it was finally stopped in 1977 for safety reasons. With no crash protection or safety measures to speak of, the enthusastic local villagers simply stood next to, or on the road as the cars raced through at full speed!
