Robin Bark studied Art for more than a decade, and has worked in advertising and freelance design as well as teaching and lecturing Design at college and university, including at Goldsmiths' University, London. Fascinated by cars and machines Robin has drawn, painted and played with them for as long as he can remember! This piece is cast in solid aluminium and polished by hand, giving each indivdual characteristics. Produced in very small batches, they are signed and numbered by the artist and presented in a wooden presentation case. Inspired by a famous Ducati victory in 1972, when Paul Smart, on a 750cc V-twin racer, triumphed over Agostini to win the Imola 200. Cast in solid aluminium from a sand mould, this free-standing piece leans in dramatic knee-out cornering style. The sculpture measures 120mm x 75mm. It is fettled and finished by hand to a highly polished lustre. As they are not mass produced, please kindly allow 7-10 days for delivery.
