1955 Mercedes Benz SL Gullwing Mille Miglia victory car t-shirt

A tribute to the 1955 Mille Miglia production class win for the Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing driven by American, John Fitch. He had a great drive in what was clearly a great car by finishing 5th overall, as the car was not modified in any way.

The event being a great success for Mercedes-Benz. Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson claimed the overall win in their Mercedes 300 SLR using 'Jenks' revolutionary scrolling pace note system.
