Guy Allen is an illustrator and cartoonist based in Surrey. He gave up a successful career in corporate identity design to make a fresh start as an illustrator in 2004. Since then he has built up a healthy following for his editorial work, particularly his Felix Petrol cartoons for Octane Magazine. His work can also be found in Classic and Sports Car each month.

Cars and motor sport are Guy Allen's primary subjects. A background in graphic design, with knowledge of the techniques involved in commercial production has resulted in a distinctive style, combining hand-drawn artwork and digital processes. Strong use of colour and a bold graphic look have become trademarks.

The popularity of Guy Allen's magazine work has lead to a strong demand for commissioned pieces, with corporate and private clients throughout the world. An expanding collection of limited edition prints has also proved very popular with collectors and enthusiasts.
