Although contracted to Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix team during 1955, Stirling Moss was free to drive for other teams, so long as dates did not clash (imagine that now!). One of the 2 races he had that year driving for Porsche, was with their pretty 550 Spyder. At the Goodwood 9 hours race, sharing the car with Huschke von Hanstien, Stirling was well on course for a class win until a Cooper-Bristol spun on oil in front of him, resulting in Moss ramming him in the side. The artwork design is of the 'Le Mans' start used at Goodwood. Watch newsreel footage here. This is a higher quality 100% pre-shrunk soft cotton t-shirt, based on an original automotive painting by Nicolas Hunziker, printed with water-based inks. Manufactured in the USA, with European sizing and cut.
